Recent price adjustments have been in response to increasing production costs caused by the rising cost of fuel. As such the fuel surcharge will be adjusted on a monthly/bimonthly basis in accordance with the cost of fuel. The Corporation has to forward its fuel surcharge proposal to the Office of the Regulator, for approval, before implementation.
EPC Price Structure as of 01 Janury 2018
Pursuant to section 20 of the Electricity Act 2010 ('Act'), the Electric Power Corporation has sought approval from the Regulator to implement retail rates charged to electricity consumers for the provision of electricity services.
The Order sets out the approved changes in tariffs including the new price structure Order No 2017/E54
